Flu Season has Arrived
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), millions of Americans get sick from the flu each season, with some cases resulting in hospitalization or death. Learn more about the flu and how you can prevent it.

Who is most likely to get sick with the flu?
The flu can present severe symptoms in the following high-risk groups:

What can help prevent the flu?
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Stay home when you are sick.
Get a flu shot, per CDC guidance recommending everyone over the age of 6 months get a flu shot annually.
Wash your hands with soap and warm water, or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available.
